Rikki at the front desk was exceptional - incredibly helpful, proactive, had great suggestions and really made my stay. Solid location. Mid breakfast though the Lounge & Bar had really good energy. A great stay overall.
Great location and the breakfast in the cafe is worth adding on - great menu choices and table service, just felt like eating out!
The worst stay and experience I have ever had traveling. I travel for a living for work and as we have an office 1 block away from the hotel, we decided to try someplace new. Unfortunately due to weather our flight was cancelled and could not get in until the next day. We had 3 rooms booked. The hotel staff was completely unaccommodating, even telling us that we will still need to check in on the day of our flight cancellation otherwise they will release our rooms and we will not have a place to stay when we finally arrive. I have never experienced this. To not even allow us to book those rooms for a future stay, and just charge us with ZERO care or accommodation is outrageous. We will be disputing all charges and writing reviews so everyone knows to beware as this hotel does not care when your travel gets moved that is COMPLETELY out of your control.
The property is amazing. The bar gives cozy, vintage New York vibes combined with a modern aesthetic. The patio is very relaxing with one of the best views 9f the city! My room was amazing! Floor to ceiling windows with a perfect view overlooking the 9/11 memorial. It was beyond words.
Pillows were way too thick and hairdryer very old. Otherwise a solid hotel.
We had a wonderful stay . The room was lovely and had an amazing view of the Freedom Tower. Generous amount of good quality towels were provided. My only note would be to provide hair conditioner The body wash and shampoo that were provided were great. Other than that minor issue I would highly recommend The Cloud One!
Great experience
Staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Very clean. Phenomenal location and even better view from the terrace and room of the 9/11 memorial and world trade centre. Elevators work very quickly. Only recommendation would be perhaps a door stopper in the room for the bathroom door as it is quite heavy and doesn’t remain open on its own. And WiFi needs to be reconnected to all the time, sometimes it wouldn’t work.
Hotel was clean and hotel staff were friendly. The sink drain in the bathroom was very slow to drain. Great stay and I would recommend and stay there again!
We had a fabulous stay at the Cloud One NY-Downtown! The hotel exceeded our expectations. I booked two rooms for our family of four and had requested they be close together - this was fulfilled without any problems. Our room was very small, but loved the floor to ceiling city views. We enjoyed the 6th floor bar and terrace (also amazing views) and cozy bar / terrace sitting areas. Appreciated the modern hotel decor and location near many attractions and subway hubs. I also really enjoyed the restaurant for coffee and breakfast - simple small menu, but beautifully presented, well-priced, delicious, very nice service. Rooms were clean and beds and pillows were amazing! Just a few suggestions for improvement - the toilet paper was awful (thin and rough - please upgrade); there was no hair conditioner (odd for a luxury hotel in the US, and none was available upon request); we had to ask daily for more bath towels. All in all, the One Cloud was wonderful, elegant and surprisingly good value. Thanks for a great stay - we'd definitely return if we find ourselves downtown!
We had a wonderful stay overall, and we really appreciated the friendly staff and the excellent location. Everything was great, and we truly enjoyed our time at your hotel. The only issue was the air conditioning. Unfortunately, it was not resolved during our stay and it did not work properly for 3–4 days. This was especially uncomfortable because, during those days, the air quality in New York was very poor due to the nearby wildfires, so keeping the windows open was not really an option. Apart from this issue, we were very happy with our stay
Air conditioner was very loud
My stay was great! Check in was easy, staff was friendly. I wanted to shout out two specific team members who made my stay amazing! Firstly, the front desk worker, Warren who worked the night shift went ABOVE and beyond to help me! I was trying to extend my room and there was limited availability and was able to get everything figured out thanks to him. AND HE WAS even friendly at 3/4 AM when I feel like most people would be tired. ALSO Alba or Alva, the woman who who cleaned my room (2203) was incredibly incredibly efficient and amazing at what she did. SO detail oriented she was like a machine! If I could hire her to clean my house I would . I was unable to fully get her name but she was a shorter hispanic woman with dark hair. EXTREMELY KIND and just amazed me with her efficiency.
(a bit on the small side) - no conditioner or lotion, but otherwise it was fine. I really enjoyed the breakfast service, the people and food was excellent. Thanks
We stayed for one night and the air conditioner in the room was not working - after talking to front desk the sent someone in to fix it which was great but the air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t sleep. The room was clean and the bar at the hotel was nice.
Staff was very friendly . Had some difficulty with housekeeping coming in at late hours.
The hotel team were friendly & helpful, the check-in/out process was quick & smooth, the room, while not large, is well-appointed and well-designed for the price. The housekeeping team kept the room very clean and fresh throughout my stay, and the bed was comfortable. My only three challenges: at busy times it was hard to get an elevator (I waited almost 10 mins one evening); there's no gym/fitness center, but i got a day pass at nearby PureGym; the food options for "dinner" are not great.
I was delighted that there was a room available for me upon arrival after an all-night flight. Thank you very much for that. Also, the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Thank you for that too!
I think you guys have a very nice hotel and I'm not really worried about the small rooms because we are in New York City. I was just happy that we had a great view of the World Trade Center so that we couldn't get ice since we did have drinks in our room and a microwave as well but what could you really do? Also, they didn't have phones in the room so you could contact front desk so you have to keep walking up and down the steps or taking the elevator, which kind of sucked besides that everything else was great.
The location is fantastic to see the city by foot or by Subway. Room was very clean and well appointed.
I had to stay somewhere unexpectedly and it was good luck in faith. The ended up at The One Cloud. The staff was amazing even the staff in the attached café. We had an extremely wonderful breakfast. I would highly suggest, including breakfast as part of your stay. The young lady behind the counter when I checked in, was very friendly and knowledgeable and the room was great. Not one thing could've been better for my stay.
9/10. Great hotel with an excellent location, friendly staff, and spotless housekeeping. Everything was smooth and hassle-free, and the lounge was definitely the highlight of my stay. My only small disappointment was that the private terrace is very prominently featured in the hotel’s photos, even though it is not presented as accessible to all guests. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. I would definitely stay here again.
I had an excellent stay at Cloud One - New York. The reception was great and I was happy with my room. They were able to book a car service to catch my flight at the end of my stay. I did not have the same experience in the lounge. I went down for a drink and snacks and there was no service for some time, which caused me to leave and find something else to eat nearby. Apart from that experience I would still recommend this location but maybe not when you hungry after a flight.
Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing missing were some drawers for clothes.
This is a perfect, fairly priced hotel. It's near the major transit hubs, making it incredibly easy to get everywhere in Manhattan and the other burrows. It's clean, staff are absolutely lovely and helpful, and the deli/bar is great. While you won't get some bells and whistles, like conditioner or a bathrobe/slippers, you will get a very comfortable and sparkling-clean room in a terrific location. I will be staying here again for sure.

Very inconvenient that there is no conditioner available in the room or when I called to the front desk to ask for they don’t have any to offer
Our check in and out was smooth. The facility was nice and staff was friendly. We unfortunately had our toilet clog and water got all over the bathroom floor-we used all of our towels to try and keep it from getting too messy. It took 45 minutes for someone to come with a plunger and two hours for someone to come clean the bathroom and provide us new towels after calling 3 separate times and going downstairs to try and get towels on our own which we were told they did not have. We had a time scheduled thing to be at which we ended up cancelling due to not being able to get ready in time. Aside from that the hotel was in a great location and was pretty clean and comfortable.
We travel alot and stayed at Cloud One New York for the 1st time. I would have given this location a score of 10, but a recent issue after checkout ruined that score. After checkout, we left our luggage with bellman (who was rude and aggressively handling the bags) by the lobby. We realized that our travel pillow was missing and called the hotel. The staff stated our pillow was found in the lobby by the front desk (where we dropped off our bags). We have never had issues with any bellman or concierge at any hotel. We have to pay the shipping costs. Also, the app doesn't allow logging in or rest the
It was fantastic to stay here, since the beginning to the end. Breakfast was so delicious and with a great menu choices. The room view of 2309 was so lovely. I will come back as soon as possible
Beautiful and very clean hotel! Perfect location! Away from the busy downtown Manhattan but a quick walk if you want to go to the busy part! Staff was friendly and very quick check in! Felt safe and the rooms are small but perfect amount of space for 2 in our room! The walk to the memorial was literally 2 minutes! I will stay here again!
Nice safe location, close to subway stop and Brooklyn bridge, which we enjoyed walking across. Room was small, but very clean and modern. Very nice hotel. Would recommend!
Very mediocre stay. My room (404) had a weird musty, mildew smell that was really noticeable when you first walked in. Wondering if it is related to the AC. Room amenities are minimal - no conditioner in bathroom? Many hotels give complimentary water bottles in the summer due to heat so I was surprised that Cloud One did not. One elevator was broken - so lobby was crammed with people waiting, it could take 10-15 min to wait for an elevator and when it opens, it’s filled with people. The cafe: so much potential but somewhat of a letdown. While the food is great, service is awful. Understaffed when crowded but even when it was empty, we had to seek out staff just to get a menu. At brunch, the server just stood behind the counter - we had to go to him to ask for menus (again), to ask for water, and to remind him to bring us coffee. There was no checking to see if everything was ok, to refill the coffees, or when to bring the bill. We had to get our own napkins, request silverware, and answered other guests’ questions (namely is this DYI/self serve or is there actual waitstaff). Overall, it was fine but I can’t say I’m eager to return.
All of the staff were very friendly and nice, our room was comfortable and clean, and we had a very pleasant stay!
This was our second time staying at the Cloud One and I'd recommend to anyone! It's such a convenient spot to stay (for us), close to the train and is very quiet at night.

Wonderful hotel with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was professional, friendly, and always willing to help. I truly enjoyed my stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to others.
Had a great stay with my daughter. Room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Only challenge was parking.
Everything good except no ice machines and housekeeping does not speak or understand English and cleans room for existing customers after 5 pm
The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had such a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be using this hotel again in the future, probably for our anniversary. The only reason I gave a score of 9 is because the room was too warm. It was set to 68 degrees, but could not go lower, and because of how hot the day was itself, it was not cool enough for us.

Clean rooms and fast elevators
“King Room with City View” had no view, just a brick building.
Great location and great view, but our room was very tight for two people, and with no dresser there was no place to unpack suitcases! I don't understand the "dresser-less" trend. People need to unpack. We needed more coffee pods in the room, as well as an extra blanket in the closet. The hotel should have complimentary coffee set up in the lobby early in the morning for guests like most hotels in its class.
Always great. As a member I appreciate the early check in. Size and cleanliness of the room. And the location is perfect. See you again soon.
When i go away I expect my room to be cleaned daily. I did not opt out of it. However house keeping knocked on our door at about 2pm. At that time we had already been out and about and where back in to change. So needless to say one of the best parts of staying at a hotel was missed. Other than that hotel was nice, check in and out was pleasant and quick.
The pricing system I don‘t like - I paid 30% more at advanced booking
I only stayed one night and it was perfect! The staff was very friendly and respectful. The hotel was very clean and beautiful!
