Amazing place to stay. Staff lovely, room very nice, we were on the 6th floor and had great views of the city.
Overall Reception/ Front desk very helpful with check-in, check-out and baggage services. Very friendly staff and welcoming Breakfast quality was okay - not a deal breaker, but could be improved Room cleaning was dissatisfactory - dustbin in bathroom was not cleared once during my whole stay. and my toiletries have been moved around Room facilities were okay except I did not like the lack of a fridge in the room
Top Hotel, Top Lage, Top Service
Really wonderful people and all the necessary facilities in a great location
Exactly what I've come to expect from Motel One - good location, well appointed room, nice breakfast friendly bar area.
Always top notch - especially the on-site team!
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It's location to the train station and Old Town was perfect. Also one specific front desk associate, Valentina, was so helpful and friendly. My only criticism is the size of the rooms and there was no notification when the hotel changed names from Hyperion to Cloud One.
everything was just great! customer service was excellent — from the moment we checked in up to check out, we felt the warmth and hospitality of the front desk staff.
A beautiful hotel and bedroom. Breakfast was very good. Lovely dressing gown and slippers in the bedroom. Hair Conditioner would be a good touch.
The hotel was lovely. Nicely decorated, comfortable and inviting. It would seem that it recently changed hands, so I imagine that one the spa is back up and running, it will be even more wonderful. The best part of the experience was the friendliness of the reception staff. They were all great, but of special note, Dolma was extra helpful with suggestions, directions and a lovely demeanor. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
Good location Close to transit and easy walk to old town
Clean. Quiet. Functional. 100% strategically located. Nice sauna facilities. Helpful staff. Free wifi. Easy to use wifi. If i was advised by hotel staff there is a free public transit mobility ticket, i will give 10/10. My friends insulted me on the free mobility ticket.🥴
We had two rooms booked, location and facilities excellent. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Salzburg. Would like the option of twin beds across the Motel One chain.
Nice stay decent room but not cleaned regularly limited breakfast options Nice bar area in the evening which can be further utilized for working space as well
The AC wasn’t cold enough and can’t be adjusted. Opening the window didn’t help either. Combined with a thick down blanket, it was sleeping in an oven each night causing us to wake up in a sweat! Housekeeping offered a fan which helped a bit but not enough. Lack of shampoo and iron in the room. Soap dispenser is a type that’s harder to use than the push or pull lever kind. Bath and hand towels were too thin. House keeping didn’t change our bath towels for 4 days but changed our hand towels. The staff can be a bit more friendly. We had to ask for the mobility pass the day after we checked in instead of offering to us. Didn’t inform us of your restaurant nor your gym so we found out on our own. When we left, the front desk just said drop the keys here in this box. There’s no “Wish you a nice safe trip” or “good bye”. Only 1 elevator was working so it’s a wait sometimes and sometimes the hotel service people use this same elevator too. The best thing about this hotel is next to the train station and you don’t hear or feel the train vibration.
Room was very pleasant, clean and quiet.
Hotel bem localizado, quarto espaçoso, único ponto a melhorar colocar um frigobar.
The hotel is in a very convenient place, right by the train station. Breakfast was very nice and everyone treated us with respect.
Good location. Bad experience with morning fire drill/ evacuation order caused by a smoker .
My flight from Salzburg to London Gatwick was cancelled on Tuesday 8th September. It was late in the evening and a fellow stranded passenger recommended this hotel brand to me. It was very easy to book, centrally located in Salzburg, and clean, functional, and ideal for my needs. I was so impressed that when my airline rebooked me on a flight from Munich two days later, I took the train to Munich and stayed in a Motel One in Munich before my rebooked flight.
Every one was nice to us. Good breakfast. The free bus rides is very helpful. The interior design is so beautiful and smart.
We very very pleased with Andreas extraordinary good service provided to our family from the day we checked in to checkout. Best seven we ever experienced. Glad the hotel have him as staff . He has provided 5-star services to all the guesses.
Tom, your front desk staff deserves a 5 stars ratings for being welcoming and initiative, sharing with guests on his experience of travelling around Salzburg.
Polite staff. Delicious breakfast. Clean rooms.
A nice, cost-effective location with an excellent river view. Adequately quiet and organized. Great location with a 10-15 walk to the Salzburg HBF and quite walkable from most city attractions. Clean and organized. Not too outstanding but good value for money.
Clean and spacious room that is ideally located for the city and the train station.
Loved the much larger than standard Motel One room. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
A lovely stay
Excellent location, same friendly, efficient reception team as on previous visit.
Quiet room. Convenient location. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Great view at breakfast. No hot water at 4 pm. Socket in bathroom did not work. No eggs left by 9.55 am.
The price charged was far in excess of the quality of the room. There was no coffee, water, extra towels or the basics offered. 20eu for the breakfast was excessive as well.
Great location. Clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The room was very tiny, the space for elevator of the hotel, built into the room was bigger than the bathroom. You could hear elevator going up and down, doors sliding and the doors slamming from stairway and the other rooms. 200 Euro/night, no breakfast included. Very disappointing comparing to other Motel One I stayed at.
Excellent location right next to the Hauptbahnhof, making commutes seamless. Very well maintained property and super nice staff. Highly recommended!
When check in, it took so long although other staff was in the office, the counter staff did not ask for help and so I had to wait more than ten minutes because the staff took care of a guest. But in such case, the other staff must help for the guest waiting so long.
This is in the perfect location. I thought it might be noisy and I'm a light sleeper. There was no noise issue at all even though it is right beside the central train station. The room was clean, staff very helpful. It was an ideal spot to explore Salzburg. It takes no time at all either walking or getting public transport to get to the old town. We will book again if back in Salzburg.
We had a wonderful stay in Motel One in Salzburg. The rooms were fresh and clean and we had an amazing view of the Salzach river. The breakfast was excellent and the terrace very pleasant for an evening drink.
For the price we paid for our stay, i had more expectations. The room was pretty basic and standard, everything was ok, nothing stood out. Breakfast was standard, nothing special Air conditioning worked really fine in the hot weather, so that was great. For an additional 15 euros, they had parking on premise, which was convenient
Hotel is clean. Not so far away from city center. Nice walk along the Salzach.
I get a wonderful treatment from the reception
This is clearly a hotel in flux at the moment after a change in ownership. The reception seemed quite chaotic, frazzled and stressed, learning live a new unfamiliar system. The bar was out of most drinks. Having said that the room.was fine and breakfast was good.
Location and rooms are excellent, the hotel is well decoarated and clean. Staff, especially during the day and in the evening are great and helpful. Staff at night not really avaialble, spent 2 x 15 min outside (room key cards were not correctly programmed) August 10 - 11. Would have appreciated the 10% discount, had we known that adavantage with the one club. A fridge in the room would be nice.
Value for money really bad
My stay was perfect. Information, hospitality and service from the staff was amazing. I promised Tum, Andreas and Dolma to come again and again. My love to H+ Hotel
Personable, professional and helpful staff, special word for Michael who couldn't have been helpful, spotlessly clean, accessible by public transport. Would highly recommend to friends and family
Great location, very friendly & helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.
Absolutely the perfect place to stay if arriving by car. Wonderful easy access to the centre. Rooms fantastic. Staff amazing
Location is excellent and the main advantage of this hotel. Just in front of a bus stop and within a short ride to the center. Also in front of a large supermarket which is quite convenient for buying quick/cheap bites. Stylish bar/lobby area as well. On the negative side, the room was lacking in basic amenities, especially at this price range: kettle, mini-fridge, tea set, ironing board, slippers, glassware are all things I am used to get in other hotels that are not provided here. Pillows to soft for my liking as well. Also puzzled about having the reception at the bar - it does not feel like a real hotel and more like the person at the bar is also handling reception duties on the side. Finally, never got the welcome water that was advertised for beOne members.
good rooms, nice location near river. need free water please. reception was very understaffed, waited very long to check in
Hotel muito agradável.
