This lovely hotel is in a quiet and convenient location, only four minutes’ walk from the 9/11 Memorial, featuring the stunningly beautiful South and North Pools, the WTC Museum and One World Trade Center. As an elderly single traveller, I was very grateful for the warm and helpful welcome that I received after my transatlantic flight. My room was clean, comfortable and practical. For two evenings I was able to relax in the sixth floor bar with tasty snacks and delicious wine, recommended by the knowledgeable bar tender Duy. I included breakfast in my booking, and the good choice of dishes was efficiently served in the hotel’s Deli on the ground floor. My departure would have been stressful as my credit card malfunctioned during my stay in New York, creating a problem when I tried to book my Uber car to the cruise port, but the ever-resourceful Elena solved the problem with great kindness and efficiency. I highly recommend this excellent hotel, and hope to return again.

The bed, pillows and sheets were amazing and we had a wonderful night of sleep. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. I was disappointed that we had a room with 9/11 memorial views, but being on the 8th floor, we only saw trees, and the restaurant below

In the middle of the fountain complex of the World Trade Center Memorial is an unusual survivor of the September 11 tragedy: the "Survivor Tree" endured all of the destruction and was allowed to move back in here in 2010.
