Organiser, participants and entry 

The competition is organised by Motel One GmbH, Tegernseer Landstraße 165, 81539 Munich (hereinafter Motel One). Any natural person aged 18 or over may enter. Employees of Motel One and their relatives are excluded. Each person may only enter the competition once. Any breach of this rule will result in the participant in question being excluded from the competition. Attempts to manipulate the competition will also result in exclusion from the competition. 

Competition period and prize 

Entry to the competition is via an entry form, which can be accessed via the beOne app. 

Entries can be submitted by entering the required details into the competition form by 23:59 (CEST) on 4 June 2026. 

To enter, interested parties must enter their first name, surname and email address in the competition form and submit the form. By submitting the form, the terms and conditions are confirmed and the person automatically enters the prize draw. Entry into the prize draw requires a beOne membership at the time of the draw. 

Below is an overview of the prize and how it will be awarded: 

Prize: The prize is an exclusive travel experience to Lisbon for two people, consisting of:  

– Two nights’ accommodation in a double room including breakfast (for the winner and a companion) at The Cloud One Lisbon  

– Return flights from a European departure airport to Lisbon 

– A dinner for two at the hotel restaurant “sazonal”  

– 2 Gin SUL drinks at The Cloud One Lisbon Skybar 

– An exclusive experience at the “Ulysses Lisbon” bar  

– A private guided food & drink tour through Lisbon’s historic old town following the cocktail experience 

The prize is subject to availability, to be arranged with Motel One, and must be redeemed outside trade fair and event periods by 31 December 2026. Cash alternatives and changes to the prize are not permitted. 

The winner will be notified by email by Motel One. The email address provided by the participant on the competition entry form will be used for this purpose. The winner will be asked to provide their home address and the details required to book the trip (in particular the full names of all fellow travellers as stated on their identity documents, the preferred European departure airport and a preferred travel period) so that the trip can be organised. The details cannot be changed once submitted. If the details are not provided within 14 days of notification of the win, the claim to the prize shall lapse. If the winner cannot be contacted or the prize cannot be processed for reasons for which they are responsible, Motel One is not obliged to make further enquiries; in this case, there is no entitlement to the prize. The winner will be selected at random from all entrants. 

Disclaimer / Amendment of the Terms and Conditions 

Motel One accepts no liability for the availability of the Motel One website. Motel One also accepts no liability for any transmission errors. 

Early termination and changes to the competition 

Motel One reserves the right to terminate or amend the competition at any time without prior notice if, for technical or other reasons, the proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed or the fairness of the competition appears to be compromised. This shall not give rise to any claims on the part of participants. 

Miscellaneous 

Legal recourse is excluded. There is no enforceable claim to the prize or to the payment of its cash value. These terms and conditions and the entire legal relationship between participants and Motel One are governed exclusively by German law. Should any individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. 

Data protection information pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR 

1. Details of the data controller

Dr Karsten Kinast, LL.M., KINAST Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Hohenzollernring 54, 50672 Cologne, email: leidinger@kinast.eu, has been appointed as the external data protection officer. 

2. Purpose and scope of data processing and legal basis 

For the purpose of conducting the competition, the first name, surname and email address of the participants will be collected and stored by the controller. Once the winner has been determined, their home address and the data required to book the trip (in particular the full names of all fellow travellers as stated on their identity documents, the preferred European departure airport and a preferred travel period) will also be requested and processed in order to deliver the prize. The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, as this is necessary for the performance of a contract with the participants. 

Disclosure to third parties 

The disclosure of personal data to third parties is excluded. 

Retention period 

The data of non-winning participants will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the competition. The data of the winner will be stored until the prize has been fully processed and will then be deleted, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
