Breakfast - The Cloud One Hamburg Kontorhaus

Hamburg’s traditional Franzbrötchen pastries, cinnamon rolls, handmade bread, herring salad, freshly made peanut butter… good food for a great day!
Of course, that’s not all: as well as a variety of drinks to wake you up, such as locally roasted coffee, tea and juice, a selection of cereals and fresh fruit also await the early birds. Plant-based milk alternatives are also provided, along with honey from the local Hamburg bees, cheese from the Backensholz dairy (winner of the World Cheese Award!) and sausage from Fricke, Hamburg’s first organic butcher. Our breakfast in Hamburg focuses on organic and local fare.

The sweetest thing

The Björn Schumann apiary not only works sustainably and produces in the heart of Hamburg. With the "Place 4 Bees" initiative, it also gives others the chance to create urban habitats for the native honey bee - just like on our hotel roof! Your breakfast honey is therefore available from - and possibly with - good company.

Our nut grinder from Supernutural is a real star on the buffet. After all, anyone can serve freshly squeezed fruit juice. But a nutty spread that you can make yourself, without additives but highly delicious - that's (almost) only available at The Cloud One!

Fine organic food in a reusable jar is not only smart – it’s also delicious. Local company Blattfrisch supplies the herring salad, for example – an indispensable breakfast specialty in Hamburg, not to mention a hangover cure.

The Hamburger Gekochte (spreadable smoked sausage) and the cold cuts on our buffet come from a local butcher, Fricke, which only works with meat produced according to strict guidelines from farms in the region. After all, a sausage is only as good as its ingredients!
